Deposition to the Hong Kong Legislative Council (with video link to LegCo testimony)
Through grassroots interviews, analysis of government data, and extensive desktop research, my fellow colleagues and I at Our Hong Kong Foundation (OHKF) developed Hong Kong’s first comprehensive policy report on the state of the city’s health and social care system for the aging population. Recommendations were provided, including a framework for a new healthcare voucher system and calls for stakeholders to make concerted efforts in transforming Hong Kong into an age-friendly city.
Beyond the research and writing of the report itself, I advocated for OHKF’s policies at Hong Kong’s Legislative Council. An original deposition was submitted to the Council. Entire deposition written and proofread by me.
